Received an mp3 player as a gift, and pulling my cd’s into it was a breeze. BUT I have cassettes, 33 RPM albums and such.   I just found this great way of ripping audio from You Tube videos.  I did a quick search of a few of my “oldies”… low and behold, they were on You Tube!

Googled for online and offline ways of converting YouTube videos to mp3 files and found several. (They’re listed below…)

So, to rip the audio into an mp3 format…open one of the following sites, paste the YouTube video URL and press the button. In a couple of minutes, you’ll get the link to download your audio.
